The Unit Trust Cor­po­ra­tion (UTC) has part­nered with the Trin­ba­go Knight Rid­ers (TKR) for the 2025 sea­son of the Caribbean Pre­mier League (CPL T20). The part­ner­ship was ce­ment­ed with a for­mal con­tract sign­ing re­cent­ly.

Dur­ing the event at UTC’s head of­fice on In­de­pen­dence Square in Port-of-Spain, ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor Nigel Ed­wards spoke about the nat­ur­al align­ment be­tween crick­et and in­vest­ment, em­pha­sis­ing the shared val­ues of strat­e­gy, re­silience, and team­work.

“This col­lab­o­ra­tion marks the be­gin­ning of an ex­cit­ing jour­ney. We look for­ward to en­gag­ing with the team’s vi­brant com­mu­ni­ty and con­tribut­ing to the dy­nam­ic spir­it of this sport,” said Ed­wards.

UTC al­so re­vealed that an el­e­ment of this part­ner­ship will help sup­port the Na­tion­al Pri­ma­ry Schools Crick­et League.

In speak­ing on the part­ner­ship, TKR’s mar­ket­ing man­ag­er, Sali­na Seep­aul, said, “We are thrilled to wel­come UTC as a spon­sor for TKR ahead of CPL 2025.
