T&T Women footballers will go after a win against St Kitts & Nevis on Sunday that will keep them in the hunt for the top spot in Group A of the CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifiers at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Balmain, Couva.
The Soca Princesses are perfect after two matches but could face their first real challenge against St Kitts/Nevis women in the feature contest from 5 pm. The game will follow an earlier encounter between Antigua & Barbuda and the Arubans from 2:30 pm.
Only Friday St Kitts & Nevis women made a bold statement by thrashing Aruba 6-1 and will be keen on securing three more points on Sunday to move to swell their tally to nine. On Tuesday's the Soca Princesses will face the Dominican Republic, in a crucial match that will decide on the winner of the group as well as the team that will advance.
Tuesday's second match on the programme will see St Kitts & Nevis up against Antigua & Barbuda from 2:30 pm at the same venue.
Coach Stephan De Four's promise of playing aggressive football which has has worked somewhat to date, and according to captain Karyn Forbes last week, her team will work on their shortfalls in preparation for the final two matches.
