Karen Ricketts

Come June 10, 11 and 12, Renaissance Productions will present The Journey 2 Now and More at Queen’s Hall. Taking the special guest spotlight will be Karen Ricketts, US Psalmist and recording artist. With over 20 years of experience in ministry, Ricketts has brought a wealth of biblical knowledge and visionary leadership to the ministries in which she has served. She has been mentored by seasoned ministers of Worship and the Word and is a welcomed psalmist across New England, the US and internationally. Ricketts received her Biblical training from Bethel Bible Institute and New England Bible Institute and became a licensed Pastor in September of 2007.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Boston, she attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science/pre-law. Although her desire was to pursue a degree in civil law, she said God had another plan as He led her into ministry. She has been a guest speaker at women’s conferences (empowering women to pursue their divine destiny), worship conferences (teaching and exemplifying the power of prophetic worship through the arts) and seminars where she is used by God to train worship ministries. Alvin Slaughter, Walter Hawkins, Judy Jacobs, Candi Staton, Joy Turner-Hill and saxophonists Allen and Allen are just some of the ministries that Ricketts has had an opportunity to be exposed to and work with. Ricketts has been married to her husband Collin for 23 years and is the proud mother of Jarrid, Ashli and  Joshua.
