How do some some people look so much younger than their chronological age? Dr. Michael S. Spicer and Stechers Limited recently launched a new skin care line called Épicé at Stechers Long Circular Mall Parfumerie and Gulf City Mall stores. Dr Spicer, a Florida dermatologist, believes that much of your appearance depends on heredity and your genetic makeup, explaining that the environment has a lot to do with how your skin looks later in life. “Your skin is most vulnerable until about 25 years of age. It’s during those years that the environment has its most detrimental effect on the skin.

Épicé, however, is one of the best skin care lines to achieve and maintain healthy skin; it uses many natural antioxidants in its formulation such as pomegranate, green tea and grape seed oil, combined with traditional moisturisers like aloe and glycerin. Newer research has shown that targeting the stem cells of the skin can help reverse some of the damaged DNA.” In the last few years a revolutionary technique has been developed enabling the cultivation of the rare apple species, Uttwiler Spatlauber. Thanks to this technology, plant stem cells can be obtained and incorporated into skin care products to improve longevity of skin cells. Épicé’s Epicell Recovery Serum utilises this Apple Stem Cell extract which helps the skin stem cells to maintain their characteristics and their ability to build new tissue. It also delays aging and has an anti-wrinkle effect.
