5 Easy steps to glowing skin

1. First rule – cleanse, cleanse, cleanse. No matter how tired you are at night, take a few minutes to wash off your makeup. When you don't, your pores get clogged and there's dead skin buildup. A gentle, mild cleanser is best. Now if you're graduating from high school, wearing makeup regularly may not be very likely, however it is still important to wash off the dirt and pollution from your face, especially at this time when acne is a common problem. Then take a few more minutes to moisturize.

2. Do a steam facial - This restores a healthy glow to the skin, as the moist heat hydrates the skin and boosts the circulation.

3. Treat the Acne - If acne seems to be dominating your life and you can't seem to catch a break, apply treatments containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and glycolic acid. If you have sensitive skin, treatments with antioxidants such as green tea, Vitamin C and E as well as anti-inflammatory ingredients are recommended.

4. Apply saffron (mixed in a little oil to make paste) everyday for the week leading up to your graduation. This spice is known for toning and enhancing the texture of the skin.

5. Facial Bronzer - you can fake it till you make it. That is; depend on a facial bronzer. For a light complexion, choose a honey coloured, peach or pink bronzer. For medium skin, use a rose-bronze, or copper shade on olive skin. Use amber bronzer on dark skin.
