UK WOMEN’S CLUB OF TT (UKWC) MARKS QUEEN ELIZABETH II DIAMOND JUBILEE WITH A UNIQUE FUNDRAISER BALL

The UK Women’s Club is to be congratulated on the very successful Diamond Jubilee Ball which was held in June 2012 at the Hyatt Hotel. The Ball also coincided with celebrations occurring in the United Kingdom at this time. The Committee headed by Terri Sheed was very fortunate to have the involvement of Brian McFarlane (Band Leader) whose ingenious creativity added a touch of class to the room. The ambiance created by Brian McFarlane was second-to-none and gave the atmosphere regal elegance.
Guests were treated to a unique experience of quality in large doses both in terms of entertainment and fine cuisine. Also guests were being attended to individually by their assigned dinner host. The British High Commissioner, Arthur Snell has sent a letter officially congratulating the UKWC on the immense amount of hard work to ensure the success of the Jubilee Ball. He stated also that it was a very professionally puttogether and delivered event, for a very good cause – namely assisting the Princess Elizabeth Centre. The UK Women’s Club recognizes that all this was only made possible through the generosity of all sponsors and the patrons who supported the event.
