I ran in­to my mod­el Dene­ice, for to­day's ar­ti­cle pure­ly by chance at a Cafe in Wood­brook and af­ter a light con­ver­sa­tion en­quired if she would be game enough to in­dulge me in a lit­tle make-up play­time along with pho­tog­ra­ph­er Sal­lim Oc­to­ber. Nat­u­ral­ly gor­geous with­out make­up, I set out to take her out of her com­fort zone and up the ante a few notch­es with­out mak­ing her feel un­com­fort­able. This one is for my read­ers who would like to amp up their make­up but are wary of ex­per­i­ment­ing with too much colour for fear of not stay­ing true to their nat­ur­al beau­ty and dis­like stick­ing out like a sore thumb wher­ev­er they may go. The var­i­ous forms of what is de­fined as Nat­ur­al Beau­ty seem to dif­fer from woman to woman. A great tip would be to choose soft, earthy colours, play around with them and come up with your very own per­son­alised beau­ty looks. You will know if you got it right when women start ask­ing you about your beau­ty reg­i­men. Smile, you are on the right track! The Kit

1.Prep+Prime Skin Bright­en­ing Serum hy­drat­ed and plumped her skin.

2.Prep+Prime Vi­bran­cy Eye Primer, a quick fix for puffy eyes.

3.Stu­dio Fix Flu­id SPF 15 in NC45 was light and com­fort­able to the skin, ap­plied with a small Duo Fi­bre brush in cir­cu­lar mo­tion.

4.Se­lect Mois­ture Cov­er in NW45 with a built in dot to dot wand, an easy DIY.

5.Her en­tire face was dust­ed with a pressed Bronz­ing Pow­der in Mat­te Brown for a sheer, nat­ur­al ef­fect.

6.Ny­lon, a pale gold with shim­mer was swished on in­ner eye­lids and Ho­cus Pocus, a dark, sooty grey on the out­er cor­ners of the eyes.

7.Eyes were lined with a Pow­er­Point eye pen­cil in En­graved and smudged with a small brush.

8. Brow Set in Rich Brown groomed her brows and got them in­to shape.

9. For­mat, a pink­ish brown frost, blushed her cheeks.

10.My lip lin­er of choice was a Crème stick lin­er in Cushy, a mid-tone brown.

11.Lips were laced with a bronzed cop­per red in Or­na­men­tal Lus­tre­glass.

12.Fi­nal­ly Dene­ice's lash­es were swept with M.A.C's Haute+ Naughty mas­cara which is a unique two in one mas­cara that al­lowed me the op­tion to choose a nat­u­ral­ly de­fined look or to load lash­es for full on dra­ma. I chose Nat­ur­al.
