Al­ber­ta Fer­ret­ti is one of Italy's fa­mous fash­ion de­sign­ers and dress­mak­ers, her show­room is lo­cat­ed in Mi­lan but her stu­dio is nes­tled with­in the pic­turesque vil­lage of Cat­toli­ca, Italy. Fer­ret­ti has been go­ing for, her mod­els strut­ting their stuff on the cat­walks and in the fash­ion and beau­ty mag­a­zines world over. This make­up look seems to be in­spired by the clothes and is very mas­cu­line and ar­chi­tec­tur­al in its ap­proach.

This type of make­up trend seeks to ex­plore the con­tours and con­struc­tion of the face by sculpt­ing the fea­tures and adding depth to the face with shad­ows rather than the sum­mer's craze of hy­per-high­light­ing. In its purest form, this look is about a nude sculp­tur­al face as a can­vas for the brow, straighter, stronger and more pur­pose­ful­ly groomed, this type of brow is the ax­is of what makes these honed, nude looks so con­tem­po­rary.
