I was inspired to call The Grammys - The Glammys, reason being the memo all the attendees received was basically; keep it clean with your wardrobe.Guess that's why JLO stated, "Guess I didn't get the memo".
What's great about the Grammys is that it signifies the individual style of its musicians and how they are not afraid to express themselves, setting trends in clothing, makeup and hair that inspires the world.
This week started Mercedes Benz Fashion week in New York, so female artists were showcasing the NY designer trends with a 'Vibe Beauty of Hollywood Glamour', mixed with defined brows, flawless covered skin and bold to nude lips.
Katy Perry looked like a Hollywood temptress yet was angelic in her alluring mint green evening dress. The defining focal point part of her face were false black lashes which added depth to her eyes. Her makeup palette was in nude to warm brown highlighted shades which were placed on the inner of her eye area, topped off with brows shaped to perfection.
Beyonce sported a modern version of a late 80's inspired black and white ying and yang pants suit but dressed it up with a powerful rouge lip, sculpted brows, warm wheat golden tones with her eye shadows and a long wearing silicone foundation base covered her skin to stand up to the nights events. Her overall look was simple and classic.
Rihanna had the sexiest vibe that night. Her coral rouge lip and soft shimmer eyes, defined brows was a blend of perfection while being fresh and young. I would say with her tangerine inspired see through gown she stole the night, and happy as ever being back with Chris Brown; it was clearly reflective of her style attitude.
Janelle Monae was in pompadour heaven with her hat, embroidered Spanish bolero pants suit and a makeup skin tone palette that was flawless and accented powerful glossy red lips that hit you on the Red Carpet.
Kelly Rowland also did not get the memo the risk paid off with a see through George Chakra gown stunning and memorable. Her nude makeup palette played delicately to blend with her show stopping entrance into the Grammys. This Destiny's Child has reinvented herself in a confident way.
Carrie Underwood was the belle of the ball with an academy award styled entrance and acceptance dress and performing in a holographic dress which wowed onlookers. The makeup was alluring, smoky, heavily lined eyes with a super voluminous mascara.
The best part Grammys was it created the perfect palette of a Vibe Beauty.
