FOR THE THIRD YEAR, the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort will be the venue of Tobago Fashion Coda (TFC), which takes place on Thursday 23rd April, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
The Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort and DG Events have officially signed a two-year hosting contract for this exclusive fashion event � Tobago Fashion Coda – making the Resort the home of Tobago Fashion Coda until 2016.
Tobago Fashion Coda is a satellite production within the Tobago Jazz Experience (TJE). Chief Executive Officer, DG Events, Don Grant, is excited about this year's edition. "Tobago Fashion Coda – themed Tobago Strong for 2015 – is a dynamic mix of high fashion, art, music and entertainment (FAME) at the most luxurious hotel on the island. Tobago Fashion Coda's Designers
The cast of designers for Tobago Fashion Coda is always impressive, and in 2015 the producer of the show, DG Events, intends to exceed expectations. Returning to the cast are the following fantastic designers who are ready to showcase their new work: Claudia Pegus, Christian Boucaud, Delia Alleyne, Millhouse, Noor and Saleem Samuel. They will be joined by the following designers who are new to the show: Adrian Foster, Charmaine Spicer, Charu Lochan Dass (CLD), Micles, Rhion Romany and The Cloth. Jewellery for the show will be provided by Koko Karibi Designs, Jo Fine Handcrafted Jewellery and Monika Schenkel.

We Welcome Home – Charmaine Spicer
After graduating in 1991 from the world renowned Fashion Institute of Technology in New York,
Tobago born, Florida-based fashion designer Charmaine Spicer has made a name for herself with her company Spice Rack Designs. In autumn 2008, Charmaine Spicer unveiled her "First Resort Collection" in Miami. This feminine yet functional line was well received at specialty stores and boutiques throughout the USA, Paris and the Caribbean. In the spring of 2010 this gifted designer decided to give back to Trinidad and Tobago, and launched her first flagship store in Tobago, where she catered to a high-end clientele under the label Charmaine Spicer Designs. In 2010, she presented her line at the Fashion Week Trinidad and Tobago (FWTT). In 2014 she showcased her 2015 Resort Collection at The Fashion Gallery NY, during New York Fashion Week 2014.
The Dynamic Charu Lochan Dass.
After returning from London with a degree in Fashion Design and Marketing at the London College of Fashion in 2011, Charu dedicated her time and efforts to creating her self-entitled brand, CLD thus making her dream a reality. The Indian-born, Trinidad-based fashion designer launched her first line of clothing – Ready to Wear 2014 – two Novembers ago.
Fashion Designer, Adrian Foster
In 2009, Foster enrolled as one of the first selected students to study fashion design at the Caribbean Academy of Fashion Design at UTT. He graduated from the programme with his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design in 2013 and attained the award for Most Promising Designer at his final night thesis Fashion Show. In September 2014 he presented his Spring Summer Collection at his first International fashion show, The Fashion Gallery NY, during New York Fashion Week, and has recently returned from representing Trinidad and Tobago at the International Fashion Showcase 2015 in England during London Fashion Week 2015.
The Talented Rhion Romany
Romany has a stunning and innovative take on women's body wear. With applauded collections like "Monroe" and "She Wolf", the Rhion Romany (?R) Brand shows his talent, confidence and promise as a designer. To date, his designs have been worn by America's Next Top Model's Bianca Golden, as well as the stage dancers of soca sensation, Machel Montano. His creations have also been on regional stages such as HOT Couture at St Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival. The ?R brand partnered with TRIBE Carnival for an exclusive line of Monday Wear for the 2015 Carnival season.
