Joe Pub­lic, Re­al Mara­cas and St John's Unit­ed all won it Round Six match­es in the Emer­ald Apart­ments and Plaza East­ern Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion league com­pe­ti­tion on Tues­day. Joe Pub­lic, the de­fend­ing cham­pi­on, turned back Up­per San­ta Cruz 3-0; while Re­al Mara­cas stopped T&T Pris­ons 3-1 and St John's de­feat­ed T&T Air Guard by the same mar­gin.

Of the three win­ners on­ly Re­al Mara­cas is card­ed to play on the week­end in the open­ing round of the League Cup. The Mara­cas boys will be at home to Ath­leti­co on Sun­day. Oth­er League Cup ac­tion on Sat­ur­day will bring to­geth­er South­east­ern Con­nec­tion against La Hor­quet­ta (Crowne Street), Tu­na­puna Ti­tans against Creek (Con­stan­tine Park), WASA against Crowne Unit­ed (WASA) and Mal­oney against Up­per San­ta Cruz (Mal­oney).
