The members of the Holy Cross College Interact Club teamed up with a local designers to host its second annual Fashion Show & Tea Party to raise funds to refurbish the chairs in the school's chapel. On May 20, over 300 people, many of whom were past students of the school, attended the event at the school's compound in Arima.
The designs of Ecliff Elie's Noble line and Radical Designs were on display. Elie's 18 pieces showcased trench coats, tuxedos and suits, which he said were inspired by a trip to London.
"The line is just about perfect because it caters for both the young and senior person who wants something formal to wear," Elie said. Co-ordinator of the function Natasha Rahim described the venture as a success. "The students and their parents really did a wonderful job."
