I just spent four nights at Crown Point Hotel, and was disgusted at the noise level at nights coming from extra loud music from some bars in the area. Sleep at night becomes difficult as the noise continues to 4.30 am. It is noteworthy that there were many foreigners visiting at this time and with the downturn of visitor arrivals in Tobago, this situation will not help encourage revisits.
I spoke with at least four foreign couples who told me that they did not pay for a green and serene holiday to be disturbed at night with this nonsense.
I am back at home but will choose differently when next visiting.
I now invite the EMA and police to get involved if only to save our tourism industry from any further destruction.
