Two 17-year-olds and a 23-year-old man were arrested for a house breaking incident, yesterday, in the East Dry River.
According to official police reports, around 7:40 am on Tuesday April 13th, a woman reported to the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Charford Court Base that she visited her property—located at Siparia Hill, East Dry River, Port-of-Spain—and observed that it had been broken into and that there were persons still inside.
Upon receiving the report, a party of officers attached to the Base responded. When the officers arrived at the location, three persons were discovered on the premises.
The three were immediately arrested.
The Police Service confirms that the 23-year-old suspect was taken to the Besson Street Criminal Investigation Department (CID) pending further enquires, while the teens were taken to the Child Protection Unit Booking Centre at the St. Joseph Police Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
