The battered body of an 85-year-old woman was found at her home at Lime Boulevard, Santa Rosa Heights this morning.
The retired teacher who lived in the US, was identified as Hyacinth Gardner.
Gardner who is said to have lived alone, reportedly returned to Trinidad early last month to continue with renovations on her house - and to also fully enjoy the Carnival celebrations.
