Dr Susan Craig-James has resigned as a member of the Police Service Commission. She is the second member to resign in the last week. The commission now stands inquorate, however, President Paula-Mae Weekes says she will make every effort to fill the vacancies. The following is a press release from the Office of the President:
Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weekes O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago has today accepted the resignation of Dr. Susan Craig-James as a Member of the Police Service Commission with effect from September 24, 2021.
The Commission now stands inquorate, as the only remaining Members are the Chairman, Ms. Bliss Seepersad and Mr. Roger Kawalsingh. There is a notification which is with Parliament at this time and the Office of the President will make every effort to fill the two recent vacancies at the soonest.
