The suspected firebombing of a vehicle is being linked to a sou sou gone bad.
According to police reports, around 10:30 Sunday night, two vehicles were secured at the Ste Madeline home of the owners, who are allegedly responsible for the running of two of the local pyramid schemes.
About an hour later the owners of the vehicles were awakened by the scent of smoke.
Upon checking it was realised that one of the vehicles was on fire.
Police said the owners were able to extinguish the flames before the arrival of fire officers.
The other vehicle on the compound sustained heat damage.
On social media, there were posts accusing the duo of crashing two sou sous and some of the participants demanding repayment.
Police officers were contacted and investigations are ongoing.
