Baby Sariah Ramsaroop’s death has been listed as a case of sudden infant death syndrome.
This was the finding of an autopsy done at the mortuary of the San Fernando General Hospital this week.
Sariah, who was nine months old, was bottle-fed by her mother Samatha Sinanan around 3 am on May 21 and then put to bed.
However, sometime after 8 am, Sinanan and her husband Christopher Ramsaroop realised that Sariah was unresponsive and her body was cold.
Oropouche police visited the couple’s home at St John Branch Trace, Avocat, Fyzabad and conducted inquiries.
