An advisory from the Water and Sewerage Authority explains the supply disruption is necessary, in order to facilitate pipeline interconnection works at the junction of Fyzabad Main Road and Siparia Old Road, Avocat.
WASA advises that a limited truck-borne water service will be available, with priority given to special homes and health care institutions.
Areas to be affected by the supply disruption include:

● Sunrees Road, Murderer Hill and Ramjohn Trace
● Katwaroo and Ragoonanan Trace
● Penal Rock Road up to Scotts Road, Aquart Village and Ramdeen Trace
● La Costena, Dil Mohammed and Debedial Road
● Solomon Knox Road
WASA customers are reminded that it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas.
In addition, motorists are being asked to proceed with caution and observe the signals of the Traffic Control Officers on duty in the vicinity of the jobsite.
For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420 or 800-4426.
