Tobago police are searching for a bandit who robbed a 58-year-old watchman of $17 and two slices of pizza during a violent attack in Scarborough.
Police said the incident took place around 8.30 on Thursday evening as the victim was walking along Gardenside Street.
Officers said the victim noticed a man following him. When he reached near the Scarborough Library, the suspect, described as about six feet tall, dark-skinned and medium-built, grabbed him by the neck and began beating him.
The attacker made off with the cash and pizza before fleeing the scene.
The matter is being investigated by WPC Stewart of the Scarborough Police District.
