The police service yesterday appealed to the public for help in finding three persons reported missing, among them a 12-year-old boy, an elderly woman and a mentally ill man.
Police said Siah Carter, 12, of Cedar Grove Road, Mayaro, was last seen by his mother at Mayaro Junction, Mayaro, yesterday.
No further information was provided by the police about the boy’s disappearance.
Meanwhile, officers also asked for help in locating 64-year-old Maureen Safe.
Police said Maureen, of North Manzanilla, was last seen boarding a taxi on Henderson Street, Sangre Grande, at around 10:15 am on Friday 9th August.
She was reported missing to the Sangre Grande Police Station, by a relative on the same date.
Officers described Maureen as being of African descent, with short grey hair, a scar on one of her shoulders and said she was last seen wearing a green and black dress and a pair of brown slippers.
And officers also asked for assistance in locating 45-year-old Neverson Paul, who has been described as mentally ill.
Police said Neverson, of Parrylands Village, Point Fortin, was last seen leaving his home on Saturday 10th August. He was reported missing to police on the following date.
Officers said Neverson is of African descent, 6 feet tall, medium built, with a dark brown complexion, and dreadlocks.
Neverson has also been diagnosed as mentally ill.
