Caribbean Airlines has issued a trravel checklist for passengers as Trinidad and Tobago’s borders are set to re-open on July 17, 2021.
To enter Trinidad and Tobago passengers must have a TTravel Pass done within 72 hours of travel – www.TTravelpass.gov.tt and a negative PCR test result.
The PCR test should be taken no earlier than 72 hours prior to arrival in Trinidad and Tobago.
Passengers must also have proof of full vaccination (all required doses) of a World Health Organization (WHO) approved vaccine and it has been two weeks post the final recommended vaccine dose(s).
Unvaccinated TT nationals must declare their status via www.TTravelpass.gov.tt where quarantine protocols will apply.
CAL has issued a statement reminding passengers of the protocols that are in place for the safety and convenience of all travellers.

AT THE AIRPORT
FACE MASKS ARE MANDATORY Caribbean Airlines requires all customers to wear a face mask/covering throughout their entire journey at all touch-points from check-in at the airport, departure gate areas, jet-bridges and on-board the aircraft for the duration of the flight.
BE ON TIME FOR YOUR FLIGHT Travelers should arrive at least 4 hours before the scheduled departure time for international flights; to allow for adequate checkin and security processing time. Note that in Trinidad and Tobago: Only the persons travelling (except for passengers needing special assistance) will be allowed into the Airport terminals for check-in and departures.
PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING International guidelines suggest standing 6 feet or 2 meters apart at the check-in queue to observe social distancing. Also please adhere to all airport and health authority guidelines regarding hand sanitization.
ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT
CREW INSTRUCTIONS Please listen to and follow the instructions from the Cabin Crew. They are on board for your safety. Failure to comply with instructions of the crew can result in fines and arrest.

CAL said that people travelling to/from Trinidad and Tobago, that some international flights may depart or arrive during the curfew hours. "Therefore, the airline advises that persons travelling and those transporting them to/from the airport should walk with a copy of the travel itinerary to assist with any request from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service," the statement said.
