The Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith will account to the nation today, after his first year in office in charge of the police service.
The Commissioner will host a media conference to deliver his first-year report.
Back on August 3, 2018 Griffith received his letter of appointment from the chairman of the Police Service Commission.
Already criminologist and former PSC chairman Professor Ramesh Deosaran and president of the Police Social and Welfare Association Gideon Dickson have given Griffith top marks for his performance since assuming office.
During his news conference today, the Commissioner is expected to discuss the achievements of his first-year and outline his strategic plan for taking the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service forward.
