With less than a week to the start of the Paris Olympics, T&T sprinter Jereem Richards won bronze at the London Diamond League in the Men's 400m event on Saturday morning.
Running out of lane eight, Richards clocked a personal best time of 44.18 seconds to finish behind Britain's Matthew Hudson-Smith and American Vernon Norwood. Hudson-Smith won the race in a world-leading time of 43.74 seconds. Meanwhile, Norwood ran a personal best of 44.10 seconds.
Grenadian, Kirani James, who once won an Olympic gold in the same event finished in fifth.
The Olympics starts on Friday.
