Moruga cousins, Kenrick Morgan and Kendall Singh who were kidnapped at sea a month ago and taken to Venezuela are back in Trinidad.
A ransom of US$12,000 and a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken was paid for their release, family members said.
Morgan, 17, a student of the Moruga Secondary School is warded at the San Fernando General Hospital where he is receiving treatment for dehydration and trauma.
Speaking at their Gran Chemin home on Wednesday, Morgan's mother Linda Boodoo said her brother Reynold Ramkhelawan and a friend left Erin on Wednesday to pick up Morgan at a Venezuelan river mouth.
Singh's family left through Moruga and retrieved him. When Guardian Media visited Singh was not at his home in Basse Terre Village.
