Days of alleged bickering among siblings ended in murder on Tuesday afternoon, when a 20-year-old man was bludgeoned to death with a piece of iron.
According to a police report, at about 2 pm, Josiah Hoard was beaten to death by a male relative while at his home at Mendez Trace, Paramin, Maraval.
Residents in the area reportedly told police that both men had been heard quarrelling for several days until the escalation of the deadly fight on Tuesday.
However, a motive is yet to be established for the killing.
The suspect has been detained and is assisting the police with their investigation.
