In the coming days, Oropouche East MP Dr Roodal Moonilal may reveal the contents of a report detailing the financial impropriety of a sitting Government minister.
Speaking at a United National Congress media briefing in Port-of-Spain yesterday, Moonilal gave no hints on who was the minister.
However, he said Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley was aware of the year-old document but failed to act on it.
Moonilal said someone reported the Cabinet member to law enforcement agencies over their financial conduct.
"There is now another report that has come to me, which is a mind-boggling report on the conduct of a particular government minister in terms of financial impropriety. It has gone to the Prime Minister. We have confirmed that this report has gone to the Prime Minister. I have also received a copy. It is not a new report. It is a year or so old, and Dr Rowley has not acted on that report. In the next few days, when I speak, I will make references. I think I will walk with that report as well," Moonilal said.
The former Minister of Housing and Urban Development said he would only speak on issues that he has in black and white.
