The Police Service (TTPS) is once again urging motorists to exercise care and caution when driving on the nation’s roads during the current Christmas season and the upcoming Carnival Season.
This warning comes after three road fatalities were recorded in the Central, Northern and Eastern Divisions, between 3 30 pm on Sunday and 2 am today in highly preventable circumstances.
In a statement, the Police Service urged driver to remember that all road traffic laws must be adhered to ensure a safe journey by all.
The TTPS is also reminding motorists that there will be a heightened policing presence in the coming months and officers will continue to enforce all road traffic laws to help save lives and keep families together.
