A 32-year-old security officer attached to a primary school in Chaguanas was arrested for a school break-in, following a report of larceny on October 21st.
A release from the TTPS says the school’s principal reported that on the same date, she had locked all doors and windows of the compound and left.
When she returned the following day, she discovered the padlock which secured the gate leading to the school’s library had been pried opened.
Further checks revealed items were missing: one super power mini sound system and one LG speaker—with a combined value of $4,000.
The police were immediately contacted and officers of the Chaguanas Criminal Investigations Department (CID) responded.
