The Water and Sewerage Authority is reporting that several of its Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) on both islands have been stopped due to flooded river conditions resulting in clogged intake screens.
The affected plants are located in North-East, North-West and South Trinidad, as well as Tobago.
WASA says it will be assessing river conditions during the course of today, to determine improvements required for the restart of operations at these plants.
