A suspended police officer and his wife have been charged with possession of forged documents. They were each granted $150,000 bail by a Port-of-Spain Magistrate and are expected to reappear in court on June 21st. Roger and Melissa Traboulay of La Horquetta, Arima were charged on May 20th with the offences by Sgt (Ag.) Davidson of the Fraud Squad.
According to police reports, during a search at the couple's home officers allegedly found and seized a quantity of documents purporting to be issued by the Ministry of Planning and Development Town and Country Planning Division for the Grant of Spirit Retailers Licences and Notices of Grant of Permission to Develop Land.
