Three men were arrested while attempting to break into a business place in Arima.
According to police reports, during the exercise, the officers received information and proceeded to the compound of a business place located at Tumpuna Road, Arima, where men were attempting to break into a warehouse.
The party of officers surrounded the compound and subsequently arrested three men, a 41-year-old from Arima, a 20-year-old from Arima, and a 24-year-old from Sangre Grande. The exercise was coordinated by Insp Ward, WPC Augustus, PC Seetaram and PC Noriega along with Cpl Banton, Cpl Francois and PC Leander of the Special Operation Response Team (SORT). PC Noriega is continuing enquiries.
