The last four Tobago Regional Health Authority's (TRHA) employees, who were sent home on administrative leave pending the completion of an independent payroll audit, will return to work on December 10.
Seven employees, from the Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology Departments, were sent on leave on March 19, this year with full pay and benefits.
The authority said then it needed to conduct an "independent review... to manage the TRHA’s expenditure in a more efficient manner."
Confirming the employees' return, the authority's Chief Executive Officer Sheldon Cyrus said, "four managers and one other employee will rerun to work tomorrow (December 10)."
He said the three other employees, who were on administrative leave, had already returned to work.
Asked about the audit's findings, Cyrus said: " We are still looking at it ."
In July, Health Secretary Agatha Carrington told the media Cyrus had the report.
She said then contents could be made available "very promptly."
Meanwhile, the TRHA announced it hired a Hospital Administrator.
" The Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development welcomes Mr Kumar Boodram, Hospital Administrator," the division said on its Facebook page, on December 9.
