Independent candidate for the Calder Hall/Scarborough district Dr Denise Tsoiafatt Angus says the PNM is not winning all 12 seats in the January 25, THA elections.
The PNM stalwart urged Tobagonians to ignore all the rhetoric as all is not well in the House of the Balisier.
She said, “People are frustrated, disenfranchised not with the party but with a number of the representatives chosen by its current leadership to represent them. Maybe 12 years ago they may have still voted for bad representation but people are smarter now and more politically savvy.”
Angus said she is confident she will win the Scarborough Calder Hall district because she speaks for the district while the incumbent Marslyn Melville Jack of the PNM “has failed in every way to represent the people, support the people and look after their interests.”
She said her opponent wasted her political currency by abusing and abandoning her constituents,.
Angus claimed Melville Jack has demonstrated that her interest was not to serve but the pump and ceremony of office.
