The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty (the Au­thor­i­ty) ad­vis­es cus­tomers in parts of Bel­mont and en­vi­rons served by the Pic­ton #2 Boost­er Sta­tion, who are present­ly ex­pe­ri­enc­ing a dis­rup­tion in their pipe borne wa­ter sup­ply that, this is due to me­chan­i­cal prob­lems at the fa­cil­i­ty.
Emer­gency re­pair works cur­rent­ly on­go­ing are ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed by 6:00 p.m. to­day.


Ar­eas af­fect­ed in­clude Up­per Pic­ton Road, Up­per Priz­gar Lands, Richard­son Lane, Quar­ry Street, St. John Street, Laven­tille Road, Up­per St. Fran­cois Val­ley Road, Up­per Bel­mont Val­ley Road, Layan Hill, Chi­na Town, Du­rant Street, Mc Kai Road, Belle Eau Road, Re­gent Street, Gon­za­les and Up­per St. Barbs.


Cus­tomers are ad­vised that it may take up to 24 hours for the ser­vice to nor­mal­ize to some af­fect­ed ar­eas in ac­cor­dance with pipe borne wa­ter sup­ply sched­ules.
