A "young adult male" is among 12 COVID_19 fatalities recorded last week according to the Ministry of Health's now weekly update on the disease.
Last week's fatalities were seven elderly males, four elderly females and a young adult male. This brings the total number of COVID-19-related deaths to 4,207 with the seven-day rolling average at 2.
"Examples of the comorbidities present in the deceased include: Diabetes, Hypertension, Heart Disease, Lung Disease, Liver Disease, Cerebrovascular Disease, Neurological Disease, Immunological Disease and Cancer. 9 persons had multiple comorbidities. 1 person had a single comorbidity. 2 persons had no known comorbidities," it said.
Over the last week, 584 new cases were confirmed.
