I just want to express the positive experience I’ve had over the past two weeks travelling between Trinidad and Tobago.
I am repairing a family home in Plymouth.
A lot of material had to be shipped from Trinidad and given the upheaval with the seabridge that occurred recently, I was really concerned about undertaking a project that would require dependable sailing between the islands.
Thankfully, the past two weeks moving cabinets, furniture and other items have been successful and stress-free as far as travel is concerned. Three of us packed everything for Tobago on the Jean de la Valette and went upstairs for sailing.
That is such a beautiful ship on the inside. The trip was smooth and the surroundings, really nice. It was a big improvement on travelling on boats that have undergone a lot of wear from constant travel.
Who would have thought that during the end time of the July/August vacation that I would have had such a positive sailing experience?
Everything went smoothly with the move and I had a lot less stress than I anticipated with the provision of the port’s sailing service.
Good job!
I hope the new boat that the Government is building is as comfortable, spacious and attractive as this boat that they are leasing now.
