T&T goalkeeper Nicklas Frenderup made his debut for Bryne FC in a 1-1 draw with Asane in the Norwegian First Division at the Bryne Stadium, Bryne, Norway on Monday.
It was the first match for Frenderup in Bryne colours since completing his six-months loan move from fellow First Division clun Ranheim IL on August 12.
Andreas Dybevik opened the scoring for Bryne, but Hakon Lorentzen got the equaliser for Asane in the 25th minute after which both teams failed to find a winner.
The drawn resulted ended a poor league run of four straight defeats for Bryne, who now sit in the 11th spot on the 16-club table with 18 points from 15 matches, one point above his former club while Asane is sixth with 20 points, 12 adrift of leaders HamKam.
However, Bryne has feared much better in the Norwegian Cup in which they have advanced to the Third Round following emphatic wins over Hinna (4-0) in the opening round, and a 6-0 trashing of Sola in the Second Round.
Up next for Bryne is league clash with eight placed Ullensaker Kisa (19 points), on August 26 and three days later versus second from bottom on the standings Stjordals/Blink (13 points).
