KFC, the nation's favourite fast food, has decided to start an online cricket coaching project with assistance from Cricket360.
Vice-president of KFC Roger Rambharose said that this is just a measure to assist young cricketers whilst they cannot go out on the playfield.
"We have decided with Rodeo Communications and Cricket360 to do some online cricket coaching videos that we will send out through youtube and facebook for cricketers to look at and keep themselves in the game so to speak."
KFC and Cricket360 were, at present, suppose to be in the process of conducting coaching camps in the Southwest region of Trinidad but the coronavirus pandemic has forced a postponement.
Rambharose said: "We were supposed to get the programme on the way to assist South West cricket but this has not come off just yet because of the current COVID-19 situation. As soon as we get the all-clear from the authorities we will be starting this programme. We are in the advance planning stages for this and we will roll it off as soon as we are over this current situation."
Former president of the Primary Schools cricket league Ian Ramlal is the coordinator that has been chosen by Cricket360 for the programme and according to him, all is ready and will be on stream as the country comes back to normalcy.
