Jenna Ross, Rachel Grosberg and Logan Raymond were among the awardees celebrated at the T&T Triathlon Federation (TTTF) recognition ceremony held at One Woodbrook Place in Port-of-Spain on Saturday.
Ross, who represented T&T at the Olympics, is TTTF's nominee for the First Citizens Sports Awards "Sportswoman of the Year" award while Grosberg and Raymond will be the sport's representative at the junior edition of the upcoming awards.
Last year was a busy one for the federation as it held the second annual CARIFTA Triathlon and Aquathlon Championships. Athlete and coaches of the TTTF were praised for doing a remarkable job.
Present at the ceremony were T&T Olympic Committee (TTOC) Brian Lewis and First Citizens Sports Foundation communication officer Trudy Louison, who handed out awards to the leading athletes and coaches in the sport.
There were a number of great achievements throughout the year and the ceremony was a way of honouring those who helped make the successful year.
TTTF's expects another stellar season and its athletes will be preparing for the third annual CARIFTA Triathlon & Aquathlon Championships to be held in Jamaica from August 17-18.
