George Gon­za­les got ex­pelled from school in Form One. A pupil of Mu­cu­rapo Ju­nior Sec­ondary, he was the on­ly “white boy” among his peers. One day, a class­mate, whom he bare­ly re­mem­bers ex­cept by the name Cruick­shank, made a racist joke. He was nev­er one to back down from pi­cong, so George fired right back. That was the end of his ed­u­ca­tion.
