?The 2010 Summer Cricket Camp organised by the West Indies Players' Association (Wipa) will bowl off on Monday at venues in Central and South Trinidad. The camp will cater for children between the ages of six and 17.The intention of the camp will be to offer these young aspiring cricketers the opportunity through participation to learn the game and in some cases improve their cricket skills. The camp will be held from Monday to Friday and July 12 to 16, from 9 am to 3 pm The venues are Presentation College, Chaguanas and San Fernando Technical Institute. In conjunction with qualified coaches, national players will also be present at both venues at various times to engage the participants by imparting their knowledge, experience and skills to the kids.�
The cost of participation for each person is $500. This sum includes cost of lunch, refreshments and two t-shirts. Payment must be made by cash or cheque. Wipa will also provide cricket gear for use in the camp. Registration and payment must be done prior to the start, or on the day of the beginning, of the camp, which is Monday. Participants must be picked up at 3.00 p.m. at the close of each day's session.
