?The 2010 Sum­mer Crick­et Camp or­gan­ised by the West In­dies Play­ers' As­so­ci­a­tion (Wipa) will bowl off on Mon­day at venues in Cen­tral and South Trinidad. The camp will cater for chil­dren be­tween the ages of six and 17.The in­ten­tion of the camp will be to of­fer these young as­pir­ing crick­eters the op­por­tu­ni­ty through par­tic­i­pa­tion to learn the game and in some cas­es im­prove their crick­et skills. The camp will be held from Mon­day to Fri­day and Ju­ly 12 to 16, from 9 am to 3 pm The venues are Pre­sen­ta­tion Col­lege, Ch­agua­nas and San Fer­nan­do Tech­ni­cal In­sti­tute. In con­junc­tion with qual­i­fied coach­es, na­tion­al play­ers will al­so be present at both venues at var­i­ous times to en­gage the par­tic­i­pants by im­part­ing their knowl­edge, ex­pe­ri­ence and skills to the kids.�

The cost of par­tic­i­pa­tion for each per­son is $500. This sum in­cludes cost of lunch, re­fresh­ments and two t-shirts. Pay­ment must be made by cash or cheque. Wipa will al­so pro­vide crick­et gear for use in the camp. Reg­is­tra­tion and pay­ment must be done pri­or to the start, or on the day of the be­gin­ning, of the camp, which is Mon­day. Par­tic­i­pants must be picked up at 3.00 p.m. at the close of each day's ses­sion.
