I was quite amazed at the Guardian's headline today implying that Dr Wayne Kublalsingh was gaining more support. The story indicated that this support was from Basdeo Panday, Dr Keith Rowley and trade union leaders.
Basdeo Panday is a political deadbeat who has not recovered from the "licking" he received from Kamla. Dr Rowley, Leader of the Opposition, will support any anti-Government demonstration and the least said about the trade union leaders, the better.
It is ironic that the Guardian's sister station, CNC3, in one of its nightly polls, showed that the vast majority are not in favour of Dr Kublalsingh and his method of protest. To compound matters, according to his brother, unless you have read Aristotle, Socrates, Plato or Shakespeare, you won't understand Dr Kublalsingh's position and commitment to his cause. Furthermore, unless you are acquainted with the historical significance and influence of great men such as Gandhi, Mandela and Martin Luther King, you really cannot fathom Dr Kublalsingh's course of action. Consider egotism, arrogance, self-opinionated-the Kublalsinghs seem to have them in abundance.
The Prime Minister should not meet with Dr Kublalsingh. She is not responsible for his physical deterioration. The consequences of his action lie solely with him.
