As my wife and I attend mass on Sundays at our selected Roman Catholic Church, I note with concern that when I look around, it stands out to me that there is an absence of young people attending. The congregation consist mainly of grey-haired people, some with walking sticks, some with a walking limp, and in general, older people like ourselves who over the years sit in the same pew on Sundays.
Interestingly absent from view are the young ones, so I am therefore asking where have all the young ones gone? Is it a Roman Catholic thing or is it a reality that applies to other religions?Do parents manage anymore to lead and make sure that their young ones are given the opportunity to at least visit the church of their choice on Sundays as my parents did to us while growing up, or has this been a thing of the past?
If my assumption is correct, when are the parents of today planning to do the correct thing and give to their children the opportunity of visiting God's place of worship on a Sunday at a minimum?
