The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of South West Trinidad served by the South Oropouche Booster, who are presently experiencing an interruption in their pipe borne supply that, this is due to a ruptured 16-inch diameter transmission pipeline, along the Southern Main Road, Otaheite.
Emergency repair works are expected to be completed by 8 pm today. The affected areas include:

Customers are further being advised that following the completion of these works, it may take 12 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.
