Police are investigating the robbery and rape of a woman by two men in Arima on Sunday evening.
Police said the woman was walking her dog sometime between 6.30 pm and 7.30 pm when she asked two men where she could buy loose cigarettes.
The men told the woman that they would show her, however after walking for a few minutes, the men grabbed her and pulled her behind a tree near the Arima Velodrome where she was raped.
The men then stole her cellphone before running away.
A report was made and officers of the Arima CID are continuing enquiries.
