It is most ironic that Prime Minister Dr. Keith Christopher Rowley in his attack on the impeccable charter of Gabriel Faria (CEO of T&T Chamber of Industry and Commerce) stated he possesses a “disrespectful mouth” and “acid tongue” when the entire country is quite aware that when compared to all our former prime ministers, PM Rowley has the most “disrespectful mouth” and “acid tongue”.
Mr. Faria, like every other citizen of our country, possesses the constitutional right of freedom of expression and thus the right to express political views and opinions. And even if he chooses to influence potential voters in the coming general election that also is his right.
And what really did Faria state that caused the Prime minister of our democratic liberal state to insult him in the most vulgar manner:”politicians have an interest : win elections at all cost so the party in power can continue to live high off the back of honest taxpayers.
I am disgusted with the behaviour/disdain/apathy ‘displayed’ by both parties.”
Right on Mr. Gabriel Faria. Do not allow the uncouth PM to bully you and make you cower.
I dare say what you said in private, you must now openly state in public your views/opinions of both the PNM and UNC.
And you know something Mr. Faria, Dr Keith Christopher Rowley is wearing borrowed robes of a PNMPrime Minister.
And like Don Quixote, he is seeing an enemy in every windmill spinning in Trinidad and Tobago.
