"My mother is my everything. She is the hand that holds us together." Having two brothers in the same business, always there to help, advise, or even watch your back, is a priceless plus as well.
Of her talented bother, Ravi, she says, "We're just three years apart and we're best buddies. He's very protective about his mom and sisters, all women in fact, because he respects all women." She also has an elder sister, Nalini, who lives in Miami and who has recently launched her company, Symphony Empires.
With all the hats she wears, it's a wonder she has any time left for romance, but she certainly does what she has to keep romance on the front burner. It helps to have a mature and sympathetic mate. "My fiancé understands who I am and my line of work. He gives me support and lends me his shoulder when I'm in need. He's my best friend, and it's important to find a bes friend in your special someone."
It's good he feels that way, because this season, she's too busy to catch her breath; Karma is booked for more than 50 performances, including a stint at no less a place than Madison Square Garden, a show long in the making. Much of the profits from this show will go towards children's charities.
Ravi B is having a children's show on the March 5, at Guaracara Park.
