Bryan Boodram struck 75 on Thursday to guide the Central zone to a comfortable 92-run win over the South-West zone in the opening round of the BG T&T Under-17 50-over Interzone cricket tournament.Boodram's knock took Central to an imposing 276/9 in this 45-over contest. Sean Vialva and Emilo Gopaul contributed 42 and 26, respectively, while Ronnie Goddard grabbed 3/44 for South-West. In reply, South-West could only muster 184/9 as fast bowler Jarlarnie Seales picked up 4/37. B Maraj (43) and V Kaloo (42) were the top batsmen for South-West.At Shaw Park in Tobago, the East zone made the trip to the sister isle count, recording a crushing 179-run win over the Tobago zone.
