Angostura held its annual children's Christmas get-together with approximately 60 children, taking them to MovieTowne to see a movie and enjoy the ambiance of the entertainment centre. There, they received party bags and a special gift from Santa who caused a stir in the lobby of the movie centre.
More than 300 gifts, collected from staff members, who gave generously, also were distributed to children, via several communities and groups, like Gloster Lodge, Trou Macaque Community Group, Deeper Life Ministries, of Point Fortin and Diego Martin, St Babb's Community Group and All In One School.
The elderly were not forgotten, as the company entertained 75 senior citizens from Laventille and provided them with Christmas hampers to assist with their festivities during the season. This was done in collaboration with the new councillor for the area, Joel Harding.
